Fort Mill Golf Club and Springfield Golf Club are owned by Leroy Springs & Company, a nonprofit that supports recreation in the Fort Mill, Chester and Lancaster communities and also operates the Anne Springs Close Greenway. That ownership is one reason the region has unusually good public-access golf for its size.
